Abstract

This study aims to analyse the role of learning communities in improving teacher competence through the use of Merdeka Mengajar Platform. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the experiences and views of teachers in several schools who are active in the learning community. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation to understand how this platform facilitates interaction, collaboration, and continuous learning among teachers. The research findings show that the Merdeka Mengajar platform contributes to expanding teachers' access to learning resources, allowing teachers to share good practices as well as receive constructive feedback from fellow educators. In addition, the learning community plays an important role in creating a collaborative environment that supports the improvement of teachers' pedagogical competence and professionalism. The results of this study are expected to serve as a guide for schools and educational institutions in optimising the utilisation of technology-based learning communities to support teachers' professional development.
