Penggunaan Attitude Toward Physics Inventory Untuk Mengukur Sikap Siswa SMA Terhadap Fisika
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap siswa SMA terhadap pelajaran fisika dari berbagai aspek. Penelitian menggunakan populasi siswa kelas XII SMA swasta di kota Bandung dengan jumlah sampel 28 orang yang dipilih secara acak. Sikap siswa yang diukur meliputi ketertarikan terhadap fisika, karier yang berhubungan dengan fisika, seberapa pentingnya fisika, bagaimana guru fisika, seberapa sulitnya fisika, serta alat-alat fisika yang digunakan. Data sikap siswa diperoleh melalui angket dan diolah dengan tafsiran persentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa pembelajaran fisika yang dilakukan sudah cukup baik. Namun, setelah dites menggunakan soal fisika sederhana, siswa tidak mampu menjawab dengan baik dan benar. Hal ini menunjukkan, bahwa siswa termotivasi dan antusias mengenai kegiatan yang melibatkan fisika, serta meyakini bahwa belajar fisika mampu mengembangkan karakter dan kepribadian. Namun, pembelajaran yang sudah didapatkan siswa tidak membantu mengembangkan siswa
This research aims to find out the attitude of high school students in physics lessons from various aspects. The study used a population of twelfth graderes in Senior High School in Bandung with a sample of 28 randomly selected people. The measured of students attitudes include interest in physics, careers related to physics, how important physics is, how the physics teachers is, how difficult physics is, and the physical tools used in learning process. Data on student attitudes is obtained through questionnaires and processed with a percentage interpretation. The results of the study show that physics learning is good enough, students are given the opportunity to explore and often involved in discussions. However, after being tested using simple physics questions, students are not able to answer properly and correctly. This shows that students are motivated and enthusiastic about activities involving physics, and believe that learning physics is able to develop character and personality, but the learning that students have acquired does not help to develop students cognitive skills.
