Parents: Shaping Students' Character?

Abstract

With today's blended learning, apart from the role of the teacher, the role of parents is also very necessary in tutoring and forming students' character while at home. The subjects in this study were high school students at SDN 1 Bayuning. This study uses a case study method and a qualitative approach where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, the data is analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the study show that the role of parents in character building has not been fully carried out by some parents early due to several factors, one of which is that parents are busy with their work. The solution that can be done is to divide the time between work and educating children while at home to obtain maximum education for students.
