About the Proceedings

The Proceedings of the International Conference on Biology and Biology Education for Sustainable Development (ICoBESD) publishes selected papers presented at the annual International Conference on Biology and Biology Education for Sustainable Development (ICoBESD), organized by the Biology Study Program and Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Indonesia.

The proceedings aim to promote the dissemination of high-quality research and innovations that contribute to sustainable development through biological sciences and biology education. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area. The review process evaluates originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the conference theme, and contribution to the field.

Open Access Policy

This proceedings provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and promotes wider dissemination of scientific findings.

The Proceedings of ICoBESD was established in 2026 to document and disseminate scholarly contributions presented at the International Conference on Biology and Biology Education for Sustainable Development.
