Capacity Building Strategies in Strengthening the Pedagogical, Professional, Social, and Personality Competencies of Indonesian Police Training Educators: A Literature Review

Abstract

Improvement quality educators at institutions Police education and training (diklat) become prerequisite main for ensure the learning process is adaptive, relevant, and has an impact on performance participant educate in context task the police force is increasingly complex. This article aim identify effective capacity building strategies in strengthening competence pedagogical, professional, social, and personality educator training Indonesian National Police through review literature. The method used is a literature review with stages: determination focus study, research articles and documents scientific, selection based on relevance topics, data extraction, and synthesis thematic. For map form intervention, factors supporter inhibitors, and practices good. Synthesis results show that the most consistent capacity building strategy increase competence educator includes: (1) training sustainable based needs (TNA) and based on competency; (2) coaching–mentoring and community practice For strengthen reflection and collaboration; (3) strengthening digital literacy as well design learning based technology; (4) performance management through observation class, bait come back structured, and evaluation based evidence; and (5) strengthening culture organization and ethics profession For support competence social and personality. Implications study confirmed the need for an integrated capacity building model that unites human resource planning, development career, and system guarantee quality learning, so that improvement competence no nature sporadic, but sustainable and measurable in the environment training Police.
